Hello, I’m Jessie. My first hand experience with multiple food allergies began 16 years ago when my baby, 6 month old Andrew, was diagnosed with multiple IGE food allergies.

Andrew, IGE Food Allergies, and the Journey of Food Allergy Freedom

Having grown up managing them, he now shares with you his experiences and unique perspective of growing up in an allergy laden world. Also, his wisdom gained by self-managing those tricky social situations.

Currently, Andrew is enrolled in Southern California Food Allergy Institutes’ Tolerance Induction Program. (SoCal TIP.) It is our hope to see him become food allergy free!

Noah, Celiac, and Food Intolerances

A few years after Andrew’s diagnosis, my younger son and I both learned we are likely celiac. Additionally, Noah had many other food intolerances in his young life. He has a peanut allergy and, until recently, other mystery allergies too. He is also excited to be a part of the SoCal TIP program and may occasionally tell you more.

Dan, the resident Gluten Eater

Dan, known as Dad around here, is our lone gluten eater. His love and support for us over the years has been valiant. Occasionally, he shares his perspective of what it is like to be the “normal” eater in a gluten free, allergy home. But don’t let him fool you, he does have one food allergy! As an adult, he developed an allergy to shrimp.

As you can see, I know the struggles of managing food, social, and medical situations in my family of celiac, food allergy, and food intolerance. I also know how overwhelming this lifestyle can seem. My goal is to encourage you to pursue abundance with practical information and resources on your gluten and allergy free journey using my first-hand experiences of living with them.
